Take a grinder and add finely chopped pieces of garlic, ginger, onion, green chillies. Turn the grinder on and make a thick paste. Now make tomato paste by grinding copped pieces of fresh tomatoes. Take some cashew nuts and turn them into a thick paste by grinding them with water
Take a pan and add 2-3 tablespoon of water in it. Once the oil gets heated, add the onion paste to the pan. Add a pinch of salt as it helps the faster cooking of the onions. Fry the paste of onion until its raw smell goes away.
Now add the puree of tomatoes which was made in the first step. Saute them until the oil get separate. It will take hardly 5-6 minutes
Now it is the time to add the spices. Add 2 teaspoons of coriander powder, 2 teaspoon of turmeric, 2 teaspoon of red chilli powder, salt according to taste and 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes, add water if the spices dry up
Now add the paste of cashew nuts which we prepared in the step 1. Cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. It will add an delicious flavour to your dish
Now it’s time to add the main ingredients of the recipe that is Boiled green peas. Add water according to the consistency you require. Give a mix and cook them for 4-5 minutes
Lastly, comes the queen of this recipe that is Paneer. Add fried paneer cubes to the gravy and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Turn the flame off and serve the dish in a beautiful serving bowl
